Anaerobic internal circulation (HZIC) reactor

Anaerobic internal circulation (HZIC) reactor

Product Details

Introduction to the HZIC Anaerobic Reactor

The HZIC anaerobic reactor is a third-generation anaerobic reactor developed on the basis of research into Upflow Anaerobic Sludge Bed (UASB) reactors. It utilises a two-stage, three-phase separator to divide the reactor into a high-load zone at the bottom and a low-load zone at the top. By exploiting the density difference created by biogas between the riser and return pipes to generate internal fluid circulation, it enhances contact between the wastewater and the anaerobic granular sludge, thereby enabling rapid purification of the effluent.

Features of the HZIC Anaerobic Reactor

The HZIC anaerobic reactor is characterised by its compact footprint, high volumetric loading, strong resistance to shock loads, stable performance, high gas production, simple operation and management, low operating costs, and significant economic benefits. It is particularly well-suited for wastewater treatment projects involving medium to high concentrations of pollutants.
