Haihui Safety Pocket Book Assessment for Workshop Workers

Introduction: Building a Strong Safety Foundation

To strengthen safety knowledge among all workers and build a solid foundation for workshop safety, Haihui Environmental recently conducted random pocket book assessments. These assessments help prevent unsafe operations and hidden risks caused by weak safety awareness.

The assessments encourage active learning and ensure safety knowledge is fully understood and applied on the shop floor.

Part 1: The Pocket Book Assessment Program

1.1 What Is the Safety Pocket Book?

The safety pocket book is a portable reference guide for workshop workers. It contains essential safety information including:

  • Safety regulations and procedures
  • Job-specific safety operating instructions
  • Emergency response guidelines

This pocket-sized guide is designed for daily reference and easy access on the shop floor.

1.2 How Assessments Are Conducted

The assessment program follows three principles:

PrincipleDescription
Random selectionWorkers are chosen randomly for assessment
On-site Q&AQuestions are asked directly on the shop floor
Learning through testingAssessments reinforce knowledge and identify gaps

A total of 12 workers were selected for the latest assessment. They were tested on their understanding of key safety concepts from the pocket book.

1.3 Assessment Results

The assessment showed that workers have a solid understanding of job safety requirements. Safety awareness remains high. The program achieved its goals of reinforcing safety knowledge and strengthening safety culture.
