Haihui Environmental Protection Hosts Mother’s Day Event for Female Staff
On the second Sunday in May, people all over the world celebrate Mother’s Day. Haihui Environmental Protection Equipment Co., Ltd. has also organised a special, heart-warming Mother’s Day event for the company’s female staff. Through this event, Haihui hopes to express its gratitude and respect to those female employees who are dedicated and responsible in their work and who make quiet sacrifices within their families.

All female staff members travelled to the Tianhu Ecological Tourism Area in Xiaodian Town, Ju County, Rizhao City, Shandong Province.
Event Overview
The female employees picked organic mulberries amidst the lush countryside and toured the National AAA-rated scenic area. Everyone spent a warm and memorable Mother’s Day filled with laughter and joy.
Part Two: Mulberry Picking Activity
Entering the Organic Mulberry Orchard
The sunshine was lovely that day, and there was a pleasant breeze. Everyone made their way into the hundred-acre organic mulberry orchard at the Tianhu Ecological Tourism Area. Clusters of deep purple, glossy, plump and juicy mulberries hung heavy on the branches. Set against the backdrop of green leaves, the mulberries looked particularly tempting.
The Joy of Picking
Everyone eagerly made their way through the mulberry groves, embarking on a delightful picking adventure. Some colleagues were nimble on their feet, standing on tiptoes to pluck ripe fruit from the higher branches; others worked in tandem, with one person holding the branch steady whilst the other picked; and still others couldn’t resist plucking a berry to pop into their mouths for a taste, the sweet, crisp juice spreading instantly across their tongues. Everyone praised them, saying, “These organic mulberries really are something else—so sweet and fresh!”
Laughter and Cheer Amidst the Picking
As they picked, everyone exchanged tips on harvesting techniques and shared insights from their work and personal lives. Bursts of hearty laughter echoed through the grove from time to time. Before long, everyone’s baskets were filled with heavy bunches of mulberries, their faces beaming with the joy of a bountiful harvest.
The Characteristics of Organic Mulberries
There is a saying: ‘Mulberries in May are as good as ginseng.’ The mulberries at Tianhu Ecological Tourism Area are organically grown, nurtured with mountain spring water and allowed to grow naturally, free from pollution. For this reason, they are hailed as the ‘folk superfruit’.
The Rewards of the Picking Activity
Through this picking activity, everyone not only tasted fresh and delicious mulberries but also experienced the joy of picking them by hand and savoured the leisurely charm of rural life.
Part Three: Visiting the Tianhu Ecological Tourism Area
Overview of the Scenic Area
After the picking, everyone toured the Tianhu Ecological Tourism Area. The entire ecological park covers more than 3,500 mu, with scenery at every turn and a new vista with every step. The park is divided into three major themed areas, each with its own unique character, making it a place one could easily lose track of time.
Visiting the Organic Tea Garden
The group arrived at the high-altitude organic tea garden, situated at an elevation of 531 metres. Here, mist swirled amidst the air, filled with the aroma of tea. The female staff members strolled along the garden’s paths, breathing in the fresh scent of tea, admiring the terraced tea bushes, and savouring the tranquillity and beauty of nature, whilst also experiencing the charm of traditional tea culture.
Exploring the Sea of Flowers Landscape
In the Sea of Flowers landscape area, a hundred flowers were in full bloom, creating a riot of colour and a heady fragrance. Dutch windmills and cartoon scarecrows dotted the flower fields, forming a beautiful pastoral scene. Everyone took out their mobile phones to take photos and capture these wonderful moments, fully enjoying the romance of early summer amidst the sea of flowers.
Visiting the Fruit Picking Garden
The group also visited the Fruit Picking Garden, where they learnt about the growth habits of various fruit trees, including cherries, plums, peaches and apricots. Through the visit, everyone recognised the dual value of ecological farming in enhancing the quality of agricultural produce and protecting the ecological environment, and all agreed that the experience had been highly rewarding.
Part Four: The Significance of the Event
The Company’s Care for Female Employees
This event was a heart-warming gesture of care from the Haihui Company Trade Union and the Women’s Committee towards all female employees. During the event, everyone temporarily set aside the hustle and bustle of work and the trivialities of daily life to get close to nature and relax both body and mind.

Amidst laughter and cheerful conversation, the female employees deepened their communication and friendship with one another, whilst also strengthening the team’s cohesion and sense of unity.
