SNCR (Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction) is a low-cost denitrification technology. This technology utilises the furnace as a reactor, spraying a reducing agent (commonly ammonia water or urea solution in industrial applications) into the furnace at temperatures ranging from 900 to 1100°C, where it reacts with the NOx in the flue gas to produce nitrogen and water, thereby achieving the removal of NOx from the flue gas.
